Linda G. Alexander has been a partner in the Firm since its establishment in 1984. She has been practicing law for over a quarter of a century. In addition to practicing law, she has been an instructor at the Oklahoma City University School of Law. Along with her partner, John C. Niemeyer, she is a contributing editor to several of the Aspen publication "Desk Reference" series.
In 1975 she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in government and philosophy, with honors, from George Mason University. In 1978, she received her Juris Doctor degree from The University of Oklahoma.
Ms. Alexander is admitted to practice in all state courts in Oklahoma, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Western, Eastern and Northern Districts of Oklahoma. In addition, she is admitted to the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth, Eighth, and Seventh and Tenth Circuits. She is also admitted to practice before the Muscogee (Creek) Tribal Court.
In addition to her concentration in trial practice, she is an experienced appellate advocate, having practiced in both state and federal appeals courts.
She is a member of the Oklahoma County, Oklahoma and American Bar Associations, the Muscogee(Creek) Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute and The Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association.
She supports the pro bono work of Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, Inc. and Lawyers for Children, and her civil activities have included service on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Philharmonic Society and lifetime membership in the Oklahoma City Orchestra League.
