Frank Austin is a shareholder with the firm, and has twenty years experience as a trial lawyer.
After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1976, Mr. Austin was employed by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, working in Kingfisher and Canadian Counties. In that capacity, he worked with prosecutors and law enforcement in the investigation and resolution of cases involving delinquent, abused and neglected children, including providing expert testimony in those areas. He commenced his legal career with the firm while still a law student at the Oklahoma City University School of Law, as a law clerk. He then obtained his limited license to practice law as a licensed legal intern in Oklahoma before graduating from Oklahoma City University Law School in 1988. While at Oklahoma City University Law School, he served as a staff editor to the Oklahoma City University Law Review.
During his legal career, Mr. Austin has concentrated his practice in the area of civil litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. In addition to personal injury and product liability, he concentrates his practice in the area of workers compensation litigation.
Mr. Austin is a member of the Oklahoma County and Oklahoma Bar Associations. He has participated as a coach of the Okarche High School Mock Trial team in the Oklahoma Bar Foundation Mock Trial Program.
He practices in all Oklahoma State Courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Western, Eastern and Northern Districts of Oklahoma.
